Rokuson'o Tsunemoto ōshika o iru ... shitari to zo
Commentary
Rokuson'o (the "sixth prince") was a childhood name for Minamoto no Tsunemoto 源經基, a tenth-century samurai and Imperial Prince. An extensive discussion of the story of his killing of the sika deer can be found on this page at the Lavenberg Collection.
