Commentary
The kamon on the right figure's clothing, generally referred to as "Maru ni mitsumori kikkō ni Hanabishi" 丸に三つ盛亀甲花菱, does not appear to be associated with any particular famous family, though the same crest without the enclosing circle was used by the Asai clan. This article claims the motif was popularly used by merchants of the Edo period.
